Importance of Education

Education means an all round drawing out of the best in child and man-body, mind and spirit.
The imperative character of education for individual growth and social development is now accepted by every one. Investment in the education of its youth considered as most vital by all modern nations. Such an investment understandably acquires top priority in developing countries. The end of all education, all training should be man making. The training by which the current and expression are brought under control and become fruitful is called education. Education plays a vital role in giving human beings proper equipment to lead a gracious and harmonious life.

Education is a fundamental means to bring any desired change in society, which is an accepted fact throughout the world. Education not only helps in the development of personality of the child but also determines his future. Recent psychological research has shown that favourable attitudes towards life develop in the earliest stages of child growth.
Education gives solutions for any type of problems. Through education we promote values and good habits and awareness towards corruption, terrorism and disease.
Education helps to continue communication with known and unknown persons through technology and mass media.
Education gives strength to the person. Through education we inculcate values in the students and readers.

The Value Of Higher Education

In today's world of technology and science, it is hard to underestimate the value of higher education. But, with the skyrocketing tuition fees, many doubt the necessity of continuing the education beyond high school. Tuition and other fees associated with getting a higher education can be quite substantial. Tuition alone can be as high as $38,000 per year (Landmark College, Prutney, Vt.). Of course, not everyone would want to study at Landmark, but still the cost of studying at other private schools is not much lower.
The cost of studying at a public college is much lower. According to a report published by the U.S. Department of education, a full time student studying at public 4-year college would pay on average $8,700 in tuition, room, and board fees per year.
Are there benefits of getting a higher education? According to a report published by Census Bureau, over an adult's working life, high school graduates earn an average of $1.2 million; associate degree holders earn about $1.6 million; and bachelor's degree holders earn about $2.1 million. Other benefits of higher education include better work conditions, social recognition, higher level of savings, improved quality of life, and much more.
