Efforts to Improve Teacher Professionalism

Teachers should have four professional competence, pedagogical competence, namely, cognitive, personality, and social. Therefore, in addition to skilled teaching, a teacher also has a vast knowledge, wisdom, and can socialize well.

Professional teachers and lecturers is a special field of work that requires professional principles. They must (1) have the talent, interest, call the soul, and idealism, (2) have qualified educational background and education in accordance with its tasks, (3) have the necessary competence in accordance with its tasks.
